Responsive website design for a London based firm
A new responsive website design
CLS Holdings came to me with a brief to re-invigorate their dated and unresponsive website. The logo was not to be changed but their existing website lacked any real brand essence and felt detached from how they saw their brand.
At this point the brief evolved to create a visual language that fitted with CLS Holding's stature and professionalism in the property investment space, and then adapt this to work as a new website showcasing their property portfolio, company information, reports and contacts.
Concept and design language
The concept for the website design was light, clean, and minimal, playing on the the companies vast property portfolio and professionalism. Photography was to be of the highest quality that the client could source and provide at the time. Typography was confident but not overstated with a clear structure of hierarchy throughout. Subtle areas of colour over and underlap with high quality imagery, precisely spaced text content, adding some real dynamism to the page but also keeping the flow clear and easy to navigate.
A huge part of the new website was the property portfolio section which was a huge part of the build. The Our Properties page allows the user to explore the properties that CLS Holdings owns/has available for use. The user can explore a global map which highlights visually where properties are located and was fully interactive with key information displayed on hover and click. Below the map view was a listing section with filter options to narrow down your search for a property and click through to a more detailed page containing more detailed information, photography, video content, and a downloadable PDF.
